Jing Min Chuan(井民全) was born in Ilan, Taiwan, Republic of China on December 15,1973. He received the B.S. degree in Computer Science engineering from Chung Hua University,Hsinchu, Taiwan in 1997,and M.S degree in Computer & Information Science from Nation Chiao Tung University in 1999. He is now a Ph.D student of the Department of Computer & Information Science at the National Chiao Tung University. He current research interests include image compression and face recognition
